Day 73

satisfied with my life as is. learning how to be an adult- assertive rather than passive/aggressive, responsible, and accountable. working on time management and prioritizing. I have very little free time now and I need to be very selective about how I spend it and whom I choose to spend it with.

most importantly, I’m trying to learn to see myself in the same light as the way God sees me. I’m learning how to make decisions based on what I need, rather than what I want.

School is good, recovery is great, friends and family are wonderful, and I am moving forward; for all of that I am so grateful.

Longest Week Ever..

I have my first exam tomorrow, thus ending the most exhausting week of my life to date.

Yes, I love scrubs. Yes, I’m so grateful to have gotten into the top program in the country. Yes, I like my classmates so far.

No, I can’t hang out tonight. No, I can’t go to the beach with you. No, I can’t have a life outside of the Hospital… Oh, well.

In the end, I know, it will all be worth it. Or at least, I must believe that it will be.

Day 39

change OR die. finally my willingness means something because i have taken action.

actually pledging abstinence until (God-willing) Aug. 17. my only issue with men is mark- after ignoring me all week, he bbms me sat (our date night) and asks if i want to hang out. i said yes, but im not going to. he apologized and had his excuse. i dont know.

saturday was great; a few friends and i went to the guggenheim museum and i was so impressed by Lee Ulfan’s work. we walked 40 blocks down to eat, lol.

sunday was amazing! My pride cherry has been popped, lmao. i have a great time <@ thank you. Pride was bigger and better than i expected! I met alot of hot girls and just had a good, sober time; ooh hot guys too! pictures to come, i promise!
